After thorough understanding to the lifting requirement and application conditions, Dongqi Hoist and Crane and the Pakistan client worked out a low price bridge crane scheme that the main beams of the bridge crane were manufactured locally. Dongqi Hoist and Crane provided the design drawings of the bridge crane main beam in 2D or 3D models for client to do production in their local workshop. On the drawings, the key technical points were listed, to make sure all the parameters were right for the bridge crane to make sure the efficiency of bridge crane.

If the workshop is under construction, Dongqi Hoist and Crane advises to use European standard bridge cranes, because European bridge cranes with less wheel load, which can reduce the support steel cost. Moreover, European bridge cranes adopts international brand gear motors, reducers, bearings, wire rope etc., all of which make the bridge crane performance more reliable and reduce the bridge crane maintenance cost during operation; The most important is Dongqi Hoist and Crane can provide a lower price comparing with that of European countries do.

If the workshop is already built up with support columns, Dongqi Hoist and Crane recommended to use the traditional I-beam crane. Dongqi Hoist and Crane has 30 years manufacturing history, which originally starts from bridge crane parts production. Traditional I-beam crane solution
For single girder bridge crane, Dongqi Hoist and Crane can provide another cost less solution. Generally, the main beam of single girder bridge crane is made of I-beam, Dongqi Hoist and Crane can provide a special kind of single girder bridge crane, the Box-girder main beam, which is specially designed with electric hoist, shown as the following picture. The design of box girder improves the performance of I-beam type at same time the cost is a little. higher than I-beam type but cheaper than European standard type.

If the workshop space is big enough and without support columns, the cost for a bridge gantry crane is less than install a bridge crane.
One Ethiopia client wants to modify his old warehouse to install bridge crane. In order to install the bridge crane, the support columns and bearing beams needs to be installed first, which costs 1.5 times higher than that bridge gantry crane. However, he says there would be two production lines with machineries on both sides of the warehouse, it is more convenient to install bridge crane; finally he decides to build a new warehouse to install bridge crane.
Price is important, but Dongqi Hoist and Crane will suggest cost less solution on the base of exact working condition. If there is no production lines in the warehouse, bridge gantry crane will be a better solution.
