The main purpose of the pulley used in the crane is to wind the wire rope, change the movement direction of the wire rope and achieve the purpose of labor saving. According to its different functions, it can be divided into fixed pulley, movable pulley, pulley block, guide pulley, etc. In the hoisting operation, if only the fixed pulley is used, the direction of force can only be changed, but it can't play the role of labor saving; although only the movable pulley can play the role of labor saving, it can't change the direction of force.
