Containership Takes Out Multiple Gantry Cranes in Busan, South Korea

A major accident was caught on camera in the Port of Busan when a containership struck multiple shoreside gantry cranes before clashing into another ship.

The video shows the Containership Milano Bridge approaching its berth with the assistance of tugs at Busan New Port. In the video, you can see one of the cranes collapse over the stern of the Milano Bridge whilst damaging two cranes before clashing into a second ship, identified as the Seaspan Ganges.

Luckily no injuries were reported.

Built in 2018, the Milano Bridge is a 13,900 TEU containership with 365.94 meters in overall length (LOA).
