The winch is designed to offer reliable safety, says the manufacturer, through features including a mechanical double safety drum brake, separate from the drive, for safe and firm holding of the load. It has a load capacity of 100kg, and wire rope capacity in multi-layer winding of around 10m of 4mm-diameter rope. Lifting speeds of up to 3m/min are made possible due to the two-stage spur gear. The winch is operated with a supply voltage of 230V.

A test device on the drum shaft is designed to enable regular testing of the brake by experience operators. The winch is also fitted with two limit switches, top and bottom, for the lift cut-off, as well as being equipped with a control and gear limit switches.
