Supplied cranes to two projects in the railway sector in its domestic Spanish market

Jaso Industrial Cranes has recently supplied cranes to two projects in the railway sector in its domestic Spanish market.

Talgo, a leading company in the design, manufacture and maintenance of railway equipment, required a range of cranes for its Rivabellosa manufacturing plant. Jaso, as part of a turnkey project, installed 8+8t double girder cranes with spans of 23.5m, and 1t jib cranes with 4m arms, as well as 40t, 19m-long travelling cranes.

At the second project, Испания’s national Railway Infrastructure Administrator (ADIF) introduced a 2-4-2 type rail-mounted portal контейнерный кран at its logistical centre at Irún, to modernise the loading and unloading logistics system for international traffic.

Jaso supplied the Irún facility, the central border hub with Франция, with a doublerail козловой кран fitted with capacity of 40t below the spreader, for handling 20ft, 30ft and 40ft containers and standardised movable boxes.
