Designing a crane suitable for customers often takes a long time to communicate. Only by understanding each other's needs can we design the best crane. Recently, we designed a set of cranes for a customer in Pakistan, including a 20 ton double beam overhead crane and four 5 ton single beam overhead cranes. Today we will share with you the process of communicating design with Pakistani customers
20 ton double girder overhead crane for Pakistan
In April of this year, the customer contacted us through the website. In the first email, the customer stated that he was from Pakistan and wanted to customize a 20 ton overhead crane and four 5 ton overhead cranes, and listed what they need Span, lifting height. The customer also expressed the need for a European-style crane. According to this email, we provided the customer with a quotation and drawings
In the second email, the customer described his needs for cranes in detail. The customer stated that he has two warehouses and has completed the construction. Now he needs to install 20-ton overhead cranes in one warehouse and four 5-ton overhead cranes in the other warehouse. During the communication, we received the warehouse drawings from the customer.

According to the two workshop drawings, our technical department confirmed the detailed span and lifting height, then give the final designs of European standard overhead crane drawings, then we send the exact quotation to Haiti customer accordingly. Below is the our designs for two modes overhead cranes:

After received the updated price quotation and technical drawings of the European standard overhead cranes, the customer sent us their warehouse supplier’s contacts information to confirm H model support beam model,after discussed with Haiti customer, they decided to buy all these two warehouse H model support beam from us, below is the H beam models we designed:
After confirmed the final quotation with H model support beam, the final customer ask us to send them the contract, then we prepared the detailed contract on which he listed the detailed European overhead cranes parameters, the total amount and related commercial terms, then send to our Pakistan customer. No any comments, Pakistan customer signed the contract and transferred the 50 % down payment on 20th July, after confirmed with our bank, HENAN YUANTAI CRANE MACHINERY IMPORT&EXPORT CO., LTD started the fabrication since 23th June.

Now these five cranes are under fabrication, during which our sales manager will take the photos for each step and send to Haiti customer, also supervise the painting, package and shipment to ensure everything goes well. Besides, HENAN YUANTAI CRANE MACHINERY IMPORT&EXPORT CO., LTD will send the test certificate and related installation, maintenance, commission manual together with the finished cranes.
